Delicious, amazing homemade food. David recommended we try our smothered burritos 1/2 with red sauce & 1/2 with green; both were just super! Rice & refried beans were great as well. Started with fresh chips & green salsa😋😋. Brought home coconut covered cake like pastries with Bavarian cream and raspberry coconut balls. Food has to be tasted to be believed!!!
Today was my very first time eating here. My friend Nacho recommended it. There was a line and the place was packed. I ordered the red enchiladas plate, a chile relleno burrito and a smothered burrito to take home for later. The staff was so very kind even with a room full of hungry customers. A young brought me chips and salsa as I waited for my meal. An older gentleman check on me as I waited for my food. Both women behind the counter looked concerned as others picked up their meals. But in all honesty there wasn't any delay in my eye.I was very content. The red enchiladas was delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly. I had to bring it home because it was so filling. I ate the chile relleno burrito just now. The beans with the relleno melted in my mouth. Thank you to the staff who looked out for me. Thank you to the cooks who created an amazing dinner. I well continue coming back. It was a wonderful experience
Local eating hole for Mexican food. Green with cheese beef burritos very nice! Also yummy bakery items. I go there at least weekly.
The food here is delicious. Definitely worth the wait. The service was fine. The food took a while to come out but it was expected because they were very busy.
Great little bakery!! We had a breakfast burrito with bacon, egg, potatoes and cheese and a burrito with chili relleno, beans and cheese in it. Delicious homemade tortillas! We picked up a few pastries to enjoy on our trip and LOVED the apple fritter especially. The burritos were big enough, I’ll be finishing mine for lunch tomorrow! Good service and inexpensive.

I ordered a Carne Asada taco and some beef tacos, and everything showed up looking so fresh and perfectly put together. Flavor? Spot on. 👌 I originally stopped in hoping to snag some of their famous tamales (seriously, they’re that good), but they were already sold out. No surprise there! The best part? They let me place an order to reserve some for the next day. 🙌 Friendly service, amazing food, and clearly a local favorite. Definitely going back — tamales round two is happening soon! 💯🔥
We are visiting from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where real Mexican food is really hard to find. This really hit the spot. The burritos were very filling, flavorful, and delicious. I got the smothered brisket burrito with half and half red/green chile and both were so good. Staff were very friendly as well, and there was a nice selection of huge pastries.
Been here twice now for green enchiladas with cheese & pan dulce! Even snuck out of work to grab something! Loooove this place! 😮💨🔥🔥 Service is great too, everybody is always incredibly friendly!
Beautiful experience. The menudo was so good I almost cried. Then their buttered bolillo nice and toasted on the side was something I didn’t know I needed ! The staff was very kind to me! I have found my favorite spot in Alamogordo
This place has been in business for at least 25 years that I know of. My wife and I went there for the first time about a month ago. The reason we went in was because we were working remodeling a house about a block away. On a Saturday the smell of their food was so AMAZING AND DELICIOUS that we went in. Awesome food, price, and FLAVOR! Today we got tamales and menudo. The best we have ever had! We have been to all the Mexican restaurants in the area. Si senor, casa de suenos, rizos, hacienda. Amigos is THE BEST. I'm writing this review because I want to support a great business, but you don't have to take it from me. Drive by that place and see how busy they are. You don't stay in business for probably 30+ years if you ain't doing it right. This is the only place I'm going for this food from now on. Thanks Amigos family for your amazing food!
